April is all about festivity for us Bengalis. We bring in the Bengali New Year known as Boila Boishakh by feasting on an array of Bengali delicacies.
Join me in my hometown of Kolkota, Inda for this special celebration and together cook up a delicious festive menu of Basanti Pulao and Aloo Dom.
Basanti Pulao is a fragrant rice dish infused with the goodness of raisins and cashew nuts giving it a royal touch.
Aloor Dom: This aromatic dish made with baby potatoes will make you fall in love with potatoes all over again.
This experience will only be available in the month of April: Sunday 25th April at 12 PM BST and Wednesday 28th April at 6 PM BST.
Tickets are limited, so get them while they last! See you there :)
Additional Notes:
I am Utsa, a Bengali living in Frankfurt who wants to break the stereotype of India being just the land of ‘curries’ and ‘tandoori’. My mission is to make Bengali food popular globally as our cuisine is one of the most diverse cuisines in the world yet no one really knows about Bengali food and its culinary history. I am here to give you a glimpse of Bengal through the cooking experience . Give Bengali food a try and take your taste buds on an aromatic joyride.
